Danis Nurgaliev was born on the 1st of September 1956. He graduated from Kazan State University with a degree in Geophysical Methods of Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Resources in 1979.
He has a qualification of Engineer-geologist-geophysicist. Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy (1997) in the specialty of Earth sciences, the title of his thesis is Geomagnetic field variations in the late Paleozoic. Professor (2000).
Scientific specialties: Geophysics (geophysical methods of mineral resources exploration), Geochemistry (geochemical methods of mineral resources exploration), Lithology.
The journal "Oil Economy" enjoys well-deserved authority among Russian oilmen as a source of up-to-date, highly professional scientific and technical information. The journal has always been and remains for publications about the latest achievements and problems of development in the field of:
