Fine precision between seismic and drilling data is the base for hydrocarbon accumulation properties forecast

Convergence between seismic and drilling data is the basis for predicting the properties of hydrocarbon deposit. It can be argued that rather close connection between them is always there, but it is not always obvious, a lot depends on the accuracy of processing and interpreting the results of well logging and field seismograms processing graph. On the example of reservoirs with complex geological structure, over the field, studied with 3D exploration seismology, it is shown the use of inversions to identify and strengthen these connections, as well as for the geometrization of hydrocarbon deposits. Improvement of the seismogeological deposit model allows to refine the reserves.

New data obtained for the last few years, demonstrate considerable differences in models and indexing of layers, compared to ones being on State balance.  In connection with this urgent development (formulating) of common correlation principles for the entire territory, borders setting and layers indexing; revision of accepted stratigraphic sequences and their adjustment in accordance with valid geological model of layers, both within a single deposit and within the entire NGR (oil-and-gas bearing area) or NGO (oil-and-gas bearing region). Specification of present geological model of Achimovsky sediments and their detailing allow to optimize a volume of indispensable for restudying geoexploration work and to define priority objects and the direction of production drilling.

Effectiveness of the nuclear magnetic resonance method use for core samples and drilling sludge laboratory petrophysical study

NMR method is used for pore space structure changing control, and its fluid distribution, that occurs in modeling of oil field exploitation, and enhanced oil recovery methods. A conclusion can be made about pore space structure changing according to changes of observable core sample relaxivity characteristic. Calculated relaxation curves provide to estimate pore space structure changing after the influence on core sample during laboratories researches, also nature and degree of changing on different steps of researches.

Technology of oil-and-gas exploration wells research by bigradient self-potential logging

Problems of the informativity increase of self-potential logging method, which are expressed in improving its vertical resolution, static potentials determining, basic calculation parameters evaluating (the coefficients of porosity and oil saturation) for reservoirs of different thickness, including a small ones (up to 0.5 m), are considered. The studies were conducted on the basis of the methodology of mathematical modeling using the theory of  self-potential method in the stack  of electrically heterogeneous, anisotropic layers with different radii of zones of flushing fluid penetration.

Typification of the terrigenous reservoirs of Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field Upper Jurassic horizon and features of the anisotropy of their filtration-capacitive properties

On the basis of a detailed sedimentological analysis of the Upper Jurassic horizon Yu1 of Sredneobskaya group of fields their facial, macro- and microheterogeneity is revealed, that determines their complicated structure. The typification of productive silty sand deposits of horizon was carried out. It was noted that information about the anisotropy of the reservoir allows to substantiate the application of bed stimulation methods. The problems of the anisotropy of the investigated sediments are considered.

The necessity and opportunity of tectonic stresses examining in the rocks of productive oil- and-gas reservoirs are considered in the article. The research results of stressedly-deformed condition of sediments of BK1-2 layers are given on the example of Vostochno-Kamennyi licensed site of Krasnoleninskyi deposit. The procedure of obtaining the values of Poisson’s ratio based on the tools of elastic inversion and geological production analysis subject to transpression and transtension zones are given in the paper.

The results of research of rare-earth elements (lanthanides) in ground waters of some deposits of West Siberian province by precise method are given in the paper. The appreciable role of juvenile fluids in the formation of modern geochemical aspect of stratal productive reservoir water is shown. Evident influence of hydrothermal fluids on oilfield deposit characteristics is marked on the example of BV6 Kechimovskoye deposit.

Ensuring trouble-free construction of horizontal offshoots in the intervals of occurrence of unstable rocks

Considered are the problem of drilling productive strata unstable clay-argillic overlays at large zenith angles with horizontal offshoots and ways of its solution: weighting of the mud, changing the design of wells, the use of inhibited drilling fluids. It is determined that increase in the density of drilling fluid reduces the productivity of wells. The use of a modified design of the offshoot provides stability and qualitative opening of the productive objects with low reservoir pressures. The drilling mud composition, having high inhibiting properties and coefficient of permeability recovery, is proposed. Three offshoots had been drilled with its use without any accident and in a short period.

Analysis of Kechimovskoye field AV13 + AV2 strata development taking into account new ideas about the geological structure

Problems of a comprehensive approach to geological field analysis of oil-field development, which includes a detailing of the geological model taking into account new methods of interpreting seismic data by the example of Kechimovskoye field АV13+АV2 strata, are considered. Specific features of these strata structure are shown. The classification of their section by geological and physical characteristics is presented. The basic design decisions by these strata are given. It is noted that comprehensive approach allows to increase the degree of oil reserves recovery.

Operation of electrical centrifugal pump units in flooded wells

It is shown that the operation of flooded wells, equipped with electrical centrifugal pump units , because of the formation in them of fine structures of invert water-in-oil emulsions, accompanied by a significant deterioration in the pressure characteristics of pumps, conditions of track discharge of incidentally produced water, as well as separator oil treating. For a more profound destabilization of the oil-water emulsions in wells, equipped with electrical centrifugal pump units, the development of additional measures, aimed at preventing the mixing of formation fluids in the operating elements of the pumps, is required.

Substantiation and basic conditions of wells transfer to the dual completion

A graphical-analytical method for determining the boundaries of the well transition to dual completion is proposed. Substantiation of use of simultaneous separate operation on the basis of geophysical and field material analysis for Yuzhno-Yagunskoye field is performed. It is shown that the most favorable for the introduction of dual completion technology are BS101 and BS112 strata.

It is shown that geoinformation system of field construction data management allows to create space-time financial and digital model of the infrastructure of oil and gas field. The most relevant and important to the company financial indicators are selected. The optimal (reference) values of these indicators are substantiated. Complex assessment of the financial condition of the enterprise with the purpose of making management decisions, aimed at its improving, is carried out. The time period during which the developed reference values can be applied at the particular enterprise without any adjustments is selected and justified.

Estimation of petroleum potential of Turukhansk Uplift

Some noncommercial fields of oil and gas and natural bitumen shows are discovered in Turukhansk Uplift area. There are no commercial hydrocarbon pools in the north-west part of Siberian Platform. Source rocks investigation is one the key positions in petroleum system study. Hydrocarbons of Vendian and Cambrian pools of Turukhansk area were not generated by Riphean source rocks. They are likely to be generated by the Vendian and Cambrian source rocks of adjacent depressions.

The main directions of improving the efficiency of the construction of sidetracks

Mark of efficiency of technological indicators of building of sidetracks of oil-producing wells is resulted. It is analyzed the quality of cementing liners in sidetracks of oil wells, as well as identify the main technological properties of cement slurries used in cementing of liners. The authors identify the basic reasons of the lack of solid contact cement to neighboring environments and suggest ways of improving the basic technology of casing offshots.

On the problems of wells completion in complex conditions

The complexity of deposits in the Lower Cretaceous, Jurassic, Triassic and Paleozoic sediments of Western Siberia increases with the depth significantly, in Eastern Siberia these problems appear much higher along the section. The basic problems and ways of their solution are given. One- and two-factor experiments can not solve the problems that have long ago appeared with increaing the complexity of geological conditions. Boreholes should be constructed along the safety profiles. Due to the fact that in the near future it has to mass drilling of wells in complex mining and geological conditions, the priority lines of Surgutneftegaz OAO scientific and technological development are determined as innovative lines of working out of perspective and reliable techniques and technology of wells construction in very complex conditions in Eastern, Western Siberia and Timan-Pechora oil-bearing province.

Hydrofracturing of low-pressure reservoirs

Marginal wells producing fr om carbonate formations need to be stimulated, but the lim iting factor for carbonates fracturing is their low reservoir pressure. In this case it will be useful to consider fracture geometry developed under low pressure conditions, and also to evaluate frac-job feasibility and economic efficiency. It has been shown that mechanical barriers restricting fracture height growth can be hydraulically developed through reservoir pressure depletion. This method results in development of longer but height-restrained fractures, which prevents penetration of water horizons and early water breakthrough after frac-job. This paper demonstrates that some reduction of fracturing cost can make this method economically attractive for low-pressure carbonate formations.

Change in the well productivity factor with a decrease in bottom-hole and reservoir pressures

A change in the well productivity factor of the obtaining bore holes with the development of oil deposits with a decrease in bottom-hole and reservoir pressures is shown. For the wells in the bobrikovsky deposits of the Shershnevskoye layer is divided a change in the productivity of the collector as a result of deformation processes and influence of free gas. It is revealed, that with the joint manifestation of deformations and reduction in the phase permeability along the oil occurs strengthening the process of reduction in the permeability of layer and well productivity factor, i.e., synergetic effect appears.

Determination of paraffin saturation temperature of the Upper Kama oil fields

The dependences for determination of paraffin saturation temperature according to operation of production wells of Unvinskoye and Shershnevskoye oil fields (Upper Kama region) are presented and analyzed. The formula calculations for which do not differ from the experimental data is more specified according to the analysis. Results of the determination of intervals of asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits in operating producing wells are presented according to the specified dependencies.
