The method of representation of long hydraulic fractures, which intersect the horizontal well, in a hydrodynamic model and experience of its application to the real oilfield are presented. Significance and capabilities of such approach are presented on example of Verhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield. Necessity of hydrodynamic simulation to justify the direction of horizontal well and corresponding orientation of fractures is shown.
