Technology of On-the-Pad Produced Water Discharge and Treatment

A technology of on-the-pad produced water discharge and treatment has been developed. The technology enables to separate produced water from water/oil emulsion at the site of well pad, treat the water to meet existing water quality standards and inject it into injection wells of the same well pad. Pilot tests of the technology have demonstrated its efficiency and viability.
