Vietnam has been producing oil more than 30 years.
Main oil reserves are contained in crystal basement rocks. World experience of study and development of such fields shows that in the absence of close analogues many tasks have to be solved for the first time and that common methods and standards have to be changed greatly. The article gives the results of the many years’ studying and observation of oil fields basements development of south offshore Vietnam.
