Hydrocarbon saturation determination on resistivity log data technique is developed. It is based on reservoir rocks petrophysical invariance and log analysis algorithms adaptivity principles. This technique increases log analysis results accuracy and reliability due to the sufficient reduction of error sources. The comparative evaluation of input data uncertainties influence on hydrocarbon saturation calculation results is presented for adaptive and conventional log analysis.
Key words: reservoir rocks, resistivity log, log analysis, adaptive technique, hydrocarbon saturation
