Oil yield enhancement and reduction of light liquid hydrocarbons content in petroleum gas at oil treatment unit design (Part I)

The necessity of determining the optimum regimes of oil separation at oil treatment for transport in order to increase the yield of oil and reducing the amount of light liquid hydrocarbons in the gas fed to the user is shown. The optimal mode of separation under various constraints of the first stage pressure is determined.
