Productivity estimation of horizontal wells with different trajectories in low permeable, anisotropic reservoirs

The problem horizontal well application for production stimulation from low permeable reservoir with high anisotropy is considered. The influence of well bore trajectory on the production increase on the reservoir AB1(1-2) of the Samotlorskoe field was the objective of the investigation. Calculations were performed with the simple analytical formula and full scale simulation on sector reservoir model.
