Calculation method for non-stable liquid flow with account for various non-Darcy laws
Authors: V.A. Iktisanov, N.Kh. Musabirova (TatNIPIneft)
Diffusion equation commonly used for interpretation of pressure transient tests is based on the Darcy law. Results of investigations undertaken by different researches testify to violation of the Darcy law regularities. The author has attempted to take into account basic parameters of non-linear flow: permeability vs. pressure, initial pressure gradient, viscoelastic effects, and interaction between formation fluid and reservoir rock, both chemical and physical. The resultant procedure is based on the works of the Russian researches dated to 1960-80-ies and present-day approaches to the calculation of non-stable liquid flow.
