A physical modeling phase state of oil paraffin in a porous medium and the free volume in a wide range of temperature and pressure conditions was carry out. The conditions of wax formation been studied. A good agreement of the results of physical modeling and analytical calculations based on equations of state is implemented in PVTsim was shown.
