Experimental research of downhole metal patch expansion parameters

The design and principle of operation of a cone used to expand a downhole metal patch for repair of production casing strings are described. To find optimal air pressure in the cone chamber, radial forces required to press the metal patch to the casing walls have been estimated through experimental research.
