Anti-cavitation stability of the hydraulic system a pump – high vapor pressure fluid

It is shown, that due to cavitation thermodynamic effect in the flow part of the pump at pumping of fluids with high vapor pressures the cases may be, when the system a pump - high vapor pressure fluid will pump without stalling the fluid with suction pressure below its saturated vapor pressure at the initial temperature. It is noted, that normal pump operation capability at boiling fluid pumping should be considered, when choosing the protection settings of pum ping stations, pumping liquefied hydrocarbon gases, as well as the parameters of the hookup of the suction tank, placed before the pump.
