Key words: colloidal systems, shear rate, fractal aggregates, viscosity
Fractal viscosity theory of liquid colloidal solutions has been examined for share rates close to zero values. The theory predicts limited permanent values for viscosity predicts limited and permanent viscosity values for shear rates near zero values and also possibility of rising viscosity with shear rate increase in particular cases. Theoretical conclusions are confirmed by experimental data for petroleum and polymer solutions.
