Characteristics of RFID-tags, applicable for electronic certification and life cycle control of oil and gas equipment are: protection against impact, abrasion, chemically aggressive environments, high and low temperatures, humidity; ability to function on metal objects. Implementation of RFID technology can reduce number of accidents while drilling and well exploiting, and increase inter-repair periods.
