The peculiarity of the running mode of oil-pipeline

The experimental results of oil-pipeline running are presented. The deviations of the experimental results from the quasi-steady model calculations are considered. It’s shown that the head loss in the initial moments of the flow corresponding to the time interval from start of flow to the developed turbulent flow is less than according to the quasi-steady theory.
