The results of corrosion resistance of pipes made using carbon and low-alloyed steels in Samotlorskoye oilfield have been presented. Influence of oil&gas flow regime, pipeline processing technology, presence of nonmetallic inclusions, chromium content of 0.5% mass. on the corrosion behavior of pipeline steels have been conducted.

Key words: oil and gas pipelines; Samotlorskoye oilfield; local corrosion.
