Determination of geological heterogeneities producing formations on the basis of spatial-temporal interpolation
Authors: I.I. Efremov (Central Geophysical Expedition OJSC)
It is identified shortcomings of digital 3D geological models of oil and gas in its adaptation to the development history. It is shown that the results of a study of deviations of actual rates of development for the project data often have very valuable information, particularly about the structure of the fractured reservoirs, the presence of channel filtering on areas previously undetected areas of destruction. The presented method based on the process of spatial-temporal interpolation of data obtained from the monthly performance report. Using techniques to determine the geological previously unidentified heterogeneity, hydrodynamically correctly adapt the original model to the geological features of the real field.
