Investigation of optical activity of various field oil components

The investigation of the optical activity of oils is carried out. The coefficients of oil maturity and migration are determined. It is established that the degree of oil maturity correlates with its optical activity. The process of biodegradation of oil, significantly influencing on the composition of oil and its optical activity, is considered.
