Investigation of the causes of accelerated corrosion of underground equipment of producing wells at the Urmanskoye field of Gazpromneft-Vostok LLC

A ranking of Urmanskoye field producing wells of Gazpromneft-Vostok LLC by cumulation of corrosion risks factors is carried out. It is shown that premature failures of downhole well equipment at the field is caused by the development of carbon dioxide corrosion processes and complicated by poor-quality tubing material (made in China) with a large number of nonmetallic inclusions, being able to intensify several times the rate of local pitting.
