Generalization of experience in the application of thermal methods of enhanced oil recovery in Bashneft ANK OAO fields

The results of laboratory tests of dependence of oil displacement efficiency on temperature are presented. Pilot operations on the application of in-situ combustion in a test site of Arlanskoye field and thermal waterflooding in Voyadinskoye field are described. The inefficiency of in-situ combustion technology in the fields with similar geological and physical characteristics is shown. The method of thermal waterflooding is recommended for further wider application.
