Real-time horizontal well placement (geosteering) at Vankorskoye field

A well placement methodology for long horizontal wells in high heterogeneous formation is defined. The use off threedimensional geological model for planning horizontal wells allows to minimize geological risks and capital expenses. Special software is used for geosteering utilizing logging while drilling.
