A quasi-stationary mathematical model for casing leak shutoff using different isolation materials in vertical (deviated) wells completed in sand-stone reservoirs is described. Calculated results are in a good agreement with field data. Employment of this model to select scientific-based technologies can lead to decrease of workover costs and raise the effectiveness of water shutoff jobs.
