The article describes the efficiency of nine-spot vs. five-spot waterflooding pattern on Permyakovskoye field. It also gives the consecutive analysis of geology, field operation history, and the process of reservoir development. Both conventional methods (based on displacement parameters) and modeling results were used for the analysis. The above studies are of great practical value since their results define the choice of the development system for the analogues ready for operation
