Well kill technologies with fluid loss control for hydro-fractured wells under AHFP and ALFP Conditions

The paper presents the results of developing, testing and commissioning a well kill technology for hydraulically fractured wells in abnormally high formation pressure conditions at oil fields operated by RN-Yuganskneftegaz LLC and RNPurneftegaz LLC Introducing this technology has helped reduce fluid loss of high-density fluid by the well during subsurface workovers up to 8 m3 per well. Description is provided of the development and the rheophysical properties of aerated non-colmataged fluids for well killing and mud flushing with absorption under ALFP conditions.
