The simultaneous production of the gascap and the heavy oil rim in Van-Eganskoye field

Unconventional methodology of simultaneous production of the gas cap and heavy oil rim is applied. The reservoir simulation demonstrates that oil recovery can be improved when simultaneously producing the gas cap and oil rim while injecting water at the gas-oil contact.
