Modern well-test technologies and rise of their importance for field development

Current well-test technologies and mainstream of its progress are presented. General evolution concept of well-testing in Russia is substantiated. It is the same for all modern production monitoring control system – priority change. It is noted main aspect of the modern methodical well-testing is the whole reservoir study, data gathering for numerical model, and as result production optimisation and increase in recovery. One more important aspect of well-test evolution is the conversion of singe well-testing to massive bottom-hole measurements by stationary remote gages in all wells in the field.
