On the prospects of water bearing formations isolation methods application in open hole within producing interval

Presented are shortcomings of traditionally applied technologies of wellsТ preparation for running casing and cementing materials. Reviewed are different technologies of shut-off operations in wells. A conclusion is made, that for efficient isolation of water bearing formations within producing interval, could be recomended a technology with application of: packers, preliminary acid treatment of permeable formations within interval to be isolated, stable to formation waters influence material GPST, and, also, cement dispersant.
