The authors discuss the development of the system of knowledge extension (SKE) as a tool for continuous data collection, processing, preservation and spread of knowledge. During the time 2014-2015 the staff fr om the Corporate Center of the company, Scientific and Technical Center of the company Gazpromneft and Information technology service company has developed the job description and functionality of SKE with the implementation of IT - based tasks of varying complexities. In July 2015, in Gazpromneft the first stage of the project for developing SKE was completed, wh ere employees received an access to the system, and the project has entered a phase of full-scale technology operations. SKE is a part of corporate system of knowledge and innovation management.
