To calculate energy consumption, OAO TATNEFT uses the sixth price tier, which implies that payable energy is instrumentally measured during controlled time periods. The Company operates more than twenty thousand producing wells, including 11.5% of intermittent producers. To decrease power consumption during controlled time periods, it was decided to operate some of these wells during weekend days. This solution will allow savings on power costs.
