Article is devoted to the use of basin modeling, which is increasingly used in conducting geological exploration for oil and gas in Russia. Basin modeling should be performed in all stages of exploration work, with each stage of this work correspond to their tasks. Regional stage comprises the steps of prediction and evaluation of oil and gas bearing zones of oil and gas. On search and evaluation stage become objects of study areas with established or possible oil and gas content, as well as prepared traps and open fields. The exploration stage studies industrial fields, clarifies their structure and reserves. Effective geological exploration process is a process cycle where the economy plays an important role - assessment of profitability of the whole project.

Quantitative approach of using of analogs in exploration and field development

Key words: reservoir analogs, complexity index, recovery factor.

Quantitative approach to selection of analogs in oil and gas field development planning is presented. This approach consists in finding and using the correlation on a set of similar objects. Approach can be used both for filling the gaps in knowledge about the geology of the formation and for evaluation of production potential of the deposit. Examples of numerical analysis of analogs are shown.

Characteristics and perspectives of Yaregskoye oil-titan deposit development

DOI:

Key words: deposits, high viscous oil, titan ore, extraction technology, economical efficient

Exploitation of high viscous oil deposits requires specific technical and economical solution of oil extraction. Based on the analysis of current practice of high viscous oil extraction in Yaregskoye oil-titan deposit, the author suggested a system of preparation and exploitation of oil deposit by thermo-mining method. Parameters of suggested system and sequence of its realization was justified. The method of coupled extraction of oil and titan from the same layer, which is suggested in this work, let to achieve the designed production level of high viscous oils in shorter term, to decrease the duration of oil extraction from the current part of the layer and to pass to extraction of titan-oil ore in shorter time. The coupled method of high viscous oil extraction and titan ore lets to achieve the high level of oil-titan site preparation for further extraction. The method of oil extraction lets to achieve the ratio of oil-titan extraction coefficient to a number of 90 %.

The goal of this research is to investigate and to develop a range of science and technological solutions for efficient oil recovery method using multi-phase flow energy with variable density. New technical solution for hydraulic systems and machines is developed and registered. The rotor in this new hydraulic machine has a permeable tridimensional cellular structure. After the first stage of the research some intermediate conclusions can be done. Lab tests have proved the main operating principles of hydraulic machine fitted with permeable cellular structured rotor (as well turbines, pumps, fans, separators, propellers). There are new possibilities in creation of efficient oil recovery methods for offshore oil production.
