Laboratory study of dissolution process in water flooding of salty terrigenous reservoirs of Verkhnechonskoe field

The paper reviews approaches for laboratory study of reservoir dissolution while fresh water injection in the development. The results of dissolution flow experiment on oil-saturated core of Verkhnechonskoye field are reviewed. An approach for determination of input data for modeling is listed. In particular, the determination of kinetic ratio of reaction according to experiment data and the calculation for experiment conditions. An estimate of permeability variation due to salt dissolution in porous media is presented as well as an estimate of dissolution processes impact on sweep efficiency.
