The use of flow deviation technologies to limit water production in producing wells

Given are the factors not allowing to cover maximum the reservoir area by stimulation at using flow deviation methods of oil recovery enhancement or requiring a multiple increase in the specific volumes of working solutions injection, that reduces the economic efficiency of flow deviation technologies. The alternative enhanced oil recovery technology consisting in limiting water production in producing wells is considered. Different types of this technology have been tested in the wells of Surgutneftegas OAO. The possibility of their use in a wide range of geological and physical parameters of the reservoirs of the company fields.
