Improvement of method for determination of chlorides’ concentration in oil

Methods of aqueous extracts’ preparation for titration have been analyzed to improve accuracy and eliminate negative effects of hydrogen sulfide chemical scavengers used as reagents for determination of chlorides in oil by Method A in accordance with GOST 21534-76. The results of the study have been considered in working out an upgraded version of GOST 21534-76.
