The paper analyzes operation of two booster pumping stations connected to a common line. To visualize operation, computer model was constructed. To optimize operation of pumping units, the authors suggest time matching, rather than concurrent operation of booster pumping stations, and added pumping rate control with a frequency-controlled drive to decrease pipeline pressure, as well as power consumption.
