Power-consuming of the reservoir pressure maintenance system during oil fields operation with use of WAG-process

The structure of energy consumption, which is typical for deposits of western Siberia, is considered. It is shown that mainly energy is expended on the mechanized extraction of oil and pressure maintenance system. The experience of WAG-process technology application in the Novogodneye field, for a long time being developed using water flooding, and the change of power consumption indexes at replacement of the repressuring medium type are presented. The conclusion about inefficiency, including energy one, of WAG-process use in this field is drawn.
