Justifying diagnostic indicators of pump rod fatigue failure

This paper discusses the results of mathematical modeling conducted to study the effect of operational loads, well servicing and well intervention on propagation of surface fractures. It has been shown, that surface fractures play the primary role in reduced serviceability of pump rods.
