Effectiveness of well stimulation technologies package developed by Tatneft OAO

Analysis of Russian and world best practices in the area of acid treatments of dual-permeability carbonate reservoirs was used as a basis for development of a well stimulation and formation treatment concept for dual-permeability carbonate reservoirs. The concept is underpinned by high-performance well stimulation and formation treatment technologies developed by the authors and successfully tested in Tatarstan oil fields. The technologies package involves methods providing for sequential treatment of the near-wellbore region and remote formation zones.
