Analysis of well stimulation pilot projects in Tatneft OAO

This paper presents analytical results of well stimulation pilot projects in complex porous-fractured carbonate reservoirs. The first results prove feasibility and high potential of new and modified well workover techniques. Basic performance criteria, technological risks, boundary conditions, and effective applications have been identified for well stimulation and treatment techniques. This paper also reviews some further objectives for improving well stimulation jobs efficiency.
