Valentina Zvereva  graduated from Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after Ivan Gubkin from Faculty of Geology, Geochemistry and Geophysics with specialist's degree in Geophysical exploration of wells. She started her career at the All-Union Research Institute of Nuclear Geophysics and Geochemistry as an Engineer, promoted later to Senior Engineer. Valentina Zvereva joined Nedra Publishing House in 1979, where she was working in the book editorial office. She has been working for Oil Industry Journal since 1980, first as a Scientific Editor, then as a Senior Scientific Editor. Appointed Deputy Editor in Chief of the journal in 1991 and Editor in Chief in 2002. V.N. Zvereva was awarded the following industry titles for contribution to the fuel and energy complex development: Honored Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex, Honored Oilfield Worker. Winner of the N.K. Baibakov Prize For Great Achievements in Problem Solutions of Sustainable Energy and Society Development.

Marat Davletovich is an Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation (1994) and BASSR (1989), Excellence in the Oil Industry of the USSR (1988).
His scientific activity is connected with the study of two-phase fluid hydrodynamics, improvement of equipment and technology for the production, gathering, and transportation of heavy, high-viscosity and watered oils.
M.D. Valeev developed the basics for equipment design for deep well pumping of high-viscosity oil, created emulsification preventing methods and viscosity reducing technologies for watered oil. He is an author of more than 250 scientific publications and 140 inventions.

Having started his career as a Workman of a geophysical field crew, Eduard Khorenovich eventually created and headed the first in the USSR independent structure of federal significance for environmental protection during hydrocarbon deposits exploration and development.
Being one of the pioneers of environmental safety movement for the offshore oil and gas production, E.Kh. Vekilov organized an effective environmental service for offshore facilities of the USSR Ministry of Geology and the USSR Ministry of Gas Industry (from the beginning of the 80s named the USSR Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry). This environmental and industrial safety management system formed the basis for the relevant departments of modern companies. He is one of the founders of the environmental service of NK Rosneft PJSC. E.Kh. Vekilov retired in 2003 as a Head of the Department for Environmental and Industrial Safety of NK Rosneft PJSC, but continued working as an expert in the environmental service, being one of the initiators and organizers of scientific and production conferences of Scientific and Technical Society of Oil and Gas Men on environmental protection. E.Kh. Vekilov participated in the state environmental appraisal of many oil and gas projects.
Honored Worker of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Russia, Excellent Worker of Mingazprom. He has many certificates of honor and medals, including international ones. Winner of the State Prize of the USSR, Winner of the I.M. Gubkin Prize, Honored Ecologist of the Russian Federation.

Dmitriy Vladimirovich Volokhov was born on the 3d of July 1970 in Alma-Ata. Graduated from the Moscow State Electronics Engineering Institute. Starting from 1993, used to work for a world leader in the sphere of expert investigation, testing and certification services Société Générale de Surveillance Group of Companies. From 1998 till 2001 headed up a SGS Vostok branch in Nakhodka, and within the period from 2001 till 2003 coordinated posts of the Head of Products, Services and Systems Department of SGS Vostok headquarters and the General Director of JV GOST-SGS Qualicert. At the end of 2003, Dmitriy Volokhov changed over to the office of the Executive Vice President and Director for Quality Management and Ecological Safety in YuKOS Refining and Marketing (ZAO). From January 2006 till April 2007 he held a position of the Director for Management Systems Standardization and Industrial Safety in JSC SUEK. Beginning from May 2007, took a post of the Head of Organizational Development Department in JSC Gazprom Neft, and from June 2008 worked as the Head of HR Department of JSC Gazprom Neft.

Asgat Galimyanovich is a General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise Institute for the Problems of Transportation of Energy Resources of the Bashkortostan Republic (1978-2015), Scientific Supervisor of the State Unitary Enterprise Institute for the Problems of Transportation of Energy Resources of the Bashkortostan Republic (2015-present).
His main scientific and engineering activity is ensuring safety and reliability of transportation of oil and petroleum products through main pipelines.
He is an initiator and leader of fundamental and applied research of polyphase media mechanics in pipeline systems, the influence of transient processes and impact effect on the bearing capacity of spatial structures, the development of safe technologies for gas-liquid mixtures pumping, technologies and methods for anticorrosion protection improvement. He contributed to the study of shock waves propagation, the stress-strain state of cylindrical shells and metal structure, on the basis of which new fundamental technologies were created. He proposed the idea of explosive energy use in pipeline transportation. A. G. Gumerov created a scientific school on the problems of ensuring pipelines safety. There are more than 40 doctors and candidates of sciences among his students.
He created fundamentally new technological processes and techniques using explosives together with his students.

Stanislav Anatolievich Zhdanov

Ravil Rustamovich is three times Winner of Russian Federation Governmental Prize in the field of Science and Technique (1995, 2006, and 2012), Winner of State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Science and Technique (1999). He is a well-known specialist in oil fields development, enhanced oil recovery and production stimulation, microbiological methods of oil spill control. He created scientific schools on the development and industrial application of enhanced oil recovery methods, information technologies in the reservoir and production engineering and methods for solving problems in the oil fields development based on artificial intelligence.
The following projects have been developed and implemented under his leadership on a large industrial scale: steam-assisted gravity treatment method on heavy oils, enhanced oil recovery method based on the use of non-ionic surfactants, as well as polymers.
Technologies for enhanced oil recovery and production stimulation based on microbiological treatment and microbiological technologies for soil and water cleanup from oil contamination have been developed and are being commercially applied. Nine doctoral and eighteen candidates’ theses were defended under his leadership.
He has published both personally and co-authored 731 scientific works, including 11 monographs, 270 patents for inventions, 29 patents for utility models, 11 foreign patents for inventions.
R.R. Ibatullin is a member of the Council for the defense of doctoral and candidates’ theses at TatNIPIneft, a member of the Dissertation Council at the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU), a member of the editorial boards of the Russian Oil Industry Journal, the Azerbaijani Scientific Works of NIPIneftegaz Journal and an SPE member.

Alexander Yurievich graduated from the Geological Exploration Faculty of the Tyumen Industrial Institute in 1977 with a degree in Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields, he worked at the institute as an Assistant to the Department of Petroleum Field Geology.

He was working for oil and gas companies in the north of the Tyumen region from 1981 to 1995. He worked his way up from a Senior Petroleum Geologist in the Yuganskneftegaz production association to the Chief Geologist-Deputy General Director of the Varyoganneftegaz production association. He was a head of the joint Russian-American venture White Nights from 1993 to 1995.

From 1999 to 2003 and from 2011 to 2012 he was in the public service being a head of the Department of Field Development and Regulation of Subsurface Management of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the field of Geology and Subsurface Management of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.

From 2012 to 2013 he was working as Deputy General Director of State Commission on Mineral Resources.

He was awarded the medal For the Exploitation of Mineral resources and the Development of the Oil and Gas Complex of Western Siberia (1989). He has the honorary title Honored Oilman (2004).

He participated in the development of the Urengoy and Yamburg gas condensate fields, the construction of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod, Urengoy-Center, Yamburg-Tula gas pipelines, the Urengoy-Surgut condensate pipeline, Surgut plants for condensate stabilization and motor fuels, compressor plants at all gas pipelines in Western Siberia and other regions.
He was awarded the following Orders: of Courage, the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor and the Friendship of Peoples as well as medals. Honored Worker of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry Construction of the USSR, Honored Worker of the Gas Industry. Winner of the Governmental Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of technology (1997).
