Aziz Khanovich is an author of more than 250 scientific publications, including more than 100 inventions and several scientific monographs. He is well known for his works on oil fields development optimization. Unique technologies for enhanced oil recovery and production stimulation suggested by A.Kh. Shakhverdiev are widely used in the oil fields of the leading Russian oil production companies. He has recently paid special attention to the problems of rational use of associated gas.
A.Kh. Shakhverdiyev was awarded the titles of Honored Oilman, Labor Veteran, Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation and other domestic and foreign awards.
