Key words: microbiological corrosion, sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB), bactericide-inhibitor, level of protection, the degree of suppression.

The dynamics of microbial contamination of Gunashli field wells production is considered. Neftegaz-2008 reagent, which has both bactericidal and inhibitory properties, is developed. The first is test in field conditions is conducted. A significant reduction of hydrogen sulfide volume, iron ions concentration and mechanical impurities in the reservoir water at reagent application is stated. In addition, the economic benefit is received.
