Gas-liquid slug flow in horizontal pipeline

This paper describes a study of mechanism of simultaneous movement of gas-liquid slug flow in horizontal pipeline. Based on the laws of mechanics the expressions for velocities of gas and liquid flow are obtained. Found the relationship between rate and true gas concentrations, allowing computation of hydraulic losses in the flow condition being analyzed.
