Exploitation of Oil Fields with H2S in the North-Western Part of Bashkortostan

The exploitation efficiency of oil fields with H2S concentrations depends on the monitoring quality all the way from the bottom-hole to the stock-tank oil delivery and associated petroleum gas sales points. Numerous studies show that without certain physical and (or) chemical treatment, the concentration of H2S in the produced water, oil and associated gas remains constant for a long time. This permanence makes it possible to solve a number of field development tasks such as mapping reservoir flooding patterns, separating oil production from multi-zone field with numerous targets, indirect assessment of corrosion on field equipment.
