The improvement of Dkt geological aspects, Donetsko-Syrtovskoye field, through the use of lithofacies

Authors: T.G. Nemirovich, I.G. Knyazeva, Ya.A. Miryasova (TNNC LLC)

When the facies variations are neglected, that leads to errors in evaluating well deliverability. More accurate prediction of intervals with better reservoir properties have ultimately been achieved through the comprehensive approach, which includes integrated seismic, core, and log data study and is based on sedimentological analysis and paleoenvironment reconstruction. This approach helps to identify regularities in reservoir formation, lithotypes and facies by their genetic features.
Key words: facies, lithotypes, median grain size, fuzzy logic method
