The article substantiates the need to finalize the draft energy strategy of Russia for the period up to the year 2035. It confirms the complexity of creating a multipronged strategy document. It also discloses the application of modern management technologies and shows the importance of institutional transformation of the energy sector industries to achieve new levels of development.
